Understanding how to properly adjust your airsoft gun hop up unit, will improve the accuracy and overall range of your airsoft bb's. Over adjusting can cause jams or may damage your gear box, so adjust in small increments. Always refer to your specific airsoft gun manual for proper adjustment.  

 

Did you know that your airsoft guns hop up shoud be adjusted in very small increments. Dialing in the hop is a slow process of fireing bb's and adjusting the hop up a little at a time until the bb's just float out of your airsoft gun straight and true. At this point bb's will fly straight with very little drop and carry out the maximum distance. If you cannot find a setting that floats the bb's correctly then it may be time for a hop up unit repair.
