Hello, recently my UTG-MP5 seems to have taken on an issue of needing repair, and I have nowhere to turn but here! After about 5000 rounds or so, the pellets would simply roll out of the barrel if pointed down. Then power went way down, and now it will not fire. Any ideas of what might be wrong or how/where I can fix it would help greatly!
Thanks
Patrick

i've got the same problem with my spas 12 when i load it and then cock it, the bb's rolll right down the barrel because a piece on this plastic thing broke that's suppose to hold it in place and then when i pull the trigger and relaese it it pushes air into the chamber and the bb shoots out, but i don't know how to fix it i've tried hot glu, gorilla glue, and super glue and can't find a replacement part

Hello, My Airsoft sniper has not been working lately but that beside the point I think i might be able to help. This isn't much of a tip on how to help but i will give it a shot. If you still have the box you might be able to see what kind of bb's your gun will take because if the bb's you are using are to small they will fall out. Now that I have help you (maybe) I need the same help as tyler.

hope i helped,

Most of the problems described here are hop up issues. The issues of soft or non firing of your airsoft gun could point to several possible malfunctions.

Preventing Hop Up Problems

1. Use only.20 gram seamless bb's or heavier
2. Never use used bb's
3. Return your hop setting to zero after use and ALWAYS before cleaning.
4. Clean and oil your airsoft gun parts and barrel after each use.
5. Never used petroleum based lubricants on your airsoft gun.

You can view the hop bucking here:

Maintaining and repairing a hop unit is fairly easy. There is a small rubber tube known as the "nub" that you must take care not to lose. Here is a picture of some common airsoft gun hop up units:

Oiling your airsoft gun can prevent many of these problems by keeping the rubber parts of the hop and the piston O-ring soft and pliable.

Sherwin, I would start by checking the hop up bucking and nub:

If all is okay with the hop unit then it could be a misaligned air nozzle or an internal problem...Torn or worn piston O-ring, Loose piston head (very Common).

you might have to go into your gearbox and see what is up with your piston because same thing was happening with my mp40 so i checked it out and found it was out of line.
